About Me
Chee Siang received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics majoring in Robotics & Automation from Multimedia University, Malacca in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he was with Centre of Multimedia and Distributed Computing in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya as an Intel research scholar where he did his M.Sc research on operating systems scheduling algorithms. This includes process and thread scheduling in multi-threading environment and benchmarking. His current research interests include parallel computing, GPGPU, cloud computing, image processing, and embedded operating systems. In Sept 2009, he joined Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and is now a lecturer in the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology-Perak (FICT).
